First Time Homebuyer Assistance
Through a federal HUD grant, Housing Programs makes funding available for home ownership of affordable housing. Down Payment Assistance can also be obtained. If you have not owned a home in the last three years, and are at or below HUD's income guidelines , you may qualify for a low interest mortgage loan with monthly payments based on your ability to pay.
Down Payment Assistance Program
The Down Payment Assistance program makes funding available to assist lower income residents purchase affordable housing. Pierce County residents may quailify, if they meet HUD's income guidelines. The maximum sales price for the home needs to be at or below the FHA maximum for Pierce County which is currently $356,250.
